Cubit shelving system as room dividers
Cubit shelves can be used to perfectly design and separate your rooms - as room dividers. A room divider does not make the room smaller but rather doubles its size as the separation of different living areas makes the room appear more varied and cosy. Particularly large rooms can be separated into cosy areas using a room divider, for example, to separate the dining area from the living area or the office area from the living room. A room divider can also serve as a privacy shield to offer an intimate changing area in a bedroom or guest room.
Cubit shelves can be used as room dividers. You can design your shelves back to back and fasten them using U-clamps by inserting the Cubit modules into the externally-positioned groove.
The customer photo on the right demonstrates the use of a Cubit room divider on wheels in an office. This is another excellent solution to remain flexible and move the room divider if necessary. For this you require melamine-coated or white painted MDF or wood core plywood, on which you can then set up your room divider shelf back to back. We believe that this solution is sufficiently stable. However, if you would like to attach the shelf to the bottom board, we recommend cutting the panel along the Cubit groove and connecting it by using an inserted board (3mm thick).
