How does the connection method work? What is it that makes the shelf a perfect fit? The modular shelf accommodates your requirements. And you can see here just how it does that:

Design the shelf realistically

Using the configurator, you can combine 34 modules and a variety of colors to create your very own personal shelf. Here's a useful tip: Information about the room size and environment is a great help during the design process.

Diana from Cologne, talking about the benefits of her MDF shelf

“White, black, red and green – my shelves are as colorful as my job”

You wouldn’t be blamed for staring when you walk into this loft: the film studio, living room and workshop all seamlessly merge into one another. Diana is a freelance stylist who works in the media center of Cologne. For TV production equipment, she also relies on items of her own. Her range of products includes everything from tiny vases to oversized mannequins. All the objects are stored in their modular wooden shelves, so they’re clearly visible and close at hand. Diana is using the CD modules to store sensibly sorted odds and ends. Large illustrated books provide visual inspiration. “I’m delighted that Cubit has the right modules for these unusual sizes. My precious books are kept nice and safe in the wooden shelves.” Sometimes, she enjoys playing vinyl records. Of course, they too are neatly stored in the LP modules of the MDF shelf.

MDF shelves aren’t just useful; they’re aesthetically appealing, too.

So, what is it about Cubit that won her over? The practical sample package and, naturally, the color cards. You wouldn’t necessarily be all that attracted to a shelf made from MDF at first. But with each module, it becomes clear that this material is extremely sturdy and has a clean finish. The contours have been crafted to guarantee the perfect fit and, above all else, the surfaces shine in flawless colors or add an elegant touch with their volcano oak, amber oak or walnut veneers. At long last, Diana was finally able to style her rooms not just to her own liking, but also to a high quality standard – all simply by using wooden shelves.

A colorful finish for more furnishing fun

“I ended up going for white, black, green, red and gray hues. I designed the entire wooden shelf and the color scheme using the configurator. It wasn’t just easy; it was fun, too,” remembers Diana. It’s highly likely that the creative stylist’s MDF shelf will change and grow over time, since every now and again she needs trendy trinkets or paraphernalia that was once all the rage for her productions. “Just don’t throw anything away! Needless to say, that’s not a problem anymore.”
