The Cubit Showroom Berlin is located in a historic architectural highlight of the 1930s. Designed by Max Taut and Franz Hoffmann (construction period 1929-32), the 7- and 9-storey building originally served as the "Warenhaus der Kosumgenossenschaft". The brothers Max and Bruno Taut were among the leading architects of the so-called "New Objectivity" from the 1930s onwards. Accordingly, the building at Oranienplatz impresses with its clarity and good proportions. After the end of the war and reconstruction true to the original, the light-flooded building now houses architectural offices, artists' studios and agencies.
The designer of the Cubit sofas, Olaf Schroeder, also has his studio in the Max Taut House opposite the Cubit showroom. He and his team are happy to answer questions about the sofa system.

This showroom exhibits the products Shelf & Sofa.
